Our Membership Registration requires very little information but any information acquired on this site is confidential. If you leave this site through an affiliate we are not then responsible for any email lists you sign up for.

Orders

We request information from the user on our order form. A user must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer’s orders. If we have trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the user. Easy payment options limit the amount of information required.

This Web site contains links to other sites. We have shopping affiliates that retain their own shopping carts and procedures. Please be aware that we, moosecreekcenter.com, are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites, although we make every attempt to deal with reputable companies. Communications from the Site

Special Offers and Updates

We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally (very occasionally) receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

FORUMS

WE have taken great care in providing security on our forums but user be ware. Please do not give out personal information such as phone numbers. Our forums are monitored and any suspicious behavior regarding solicitation of any minors will be reported. The views on our forums are the users and not of Moosecreekcenter.com, its owners or staff.

If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and email address. Out of respect for our users privacy we provide a way to opt-out of these communications. We are spam haters.

Service Announcements

On rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their account. However, these communications are not promotional in nature. Users may opt-out of these communications if they wish.

Customer Service

We communicate with users on to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account or order. We may reply via email or phone, in accordance with the users wishes. We welcome suggestions

Third Party Intermediaries

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. We also use PayPal, CertaPay (Canada only, now bought out by Interac). We are not responsible for any information they may collect. Please use your judgment when giving out personal information. Please read their PRIVACY POLICIES.

Anyone not wishing to use any pay system via the internet may send a money order via regular post.

Surveys [& Contests]

We conduct in depth surveys such as our Cancer survey. Information gathered from these surveys is strictly confidential and intended for research purposes and in most surveys does not include personally identifiable information.

We also conduct other surveys and contests that may request information from users. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip/postal code). Contact information may be shared with the contest or survey sponsors to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information may be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.
